Annual Pub Night

WHAT IS THE PUB NIGHT?

The Pub Night is the VMSL annual fundraiser, which includes a burger dinner, one beer, wine or hi-ball, door prizes, Silent Auction, 50/50 draw, Prize Boards, Toonie Toss and Dancing. Each team pays for 12 Pub Night tickets with their league fee's. Teams may purchase additional tickets from league executive for $20 each. It’s a time for our league members to socialize without cleats on, and see what we all look like once we get cleaned up, and continue to develop the strong sense of community that exists in our league. It’s also a fundraiser for our league so that we can continue to keep our league fees low and make contributions to the community. All teams are required to supply 2 door prizes and at least one silent auction item by the date set out by the executive at the beginning of the season!

PUB NIGHT 2022:

Sadly cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic - however the "Year End Social Hour" was a massive success, raising over $4500 for next years season! Thank you to everyone who opened their wallets and took part in the fun!

PUB NIGHT 2019:

2019 was the third time being at Newlands Golf and Country Club! It was a great turnout and great DJ!! The Toonie toss was one for the books and raised over $400 for the league!

PUB NIGHT 2018:

2018 was the second time at Newlands Golf and Country Club which was on a beautiful sunny June day, sadly due to it landing on fathers day - there was fewer numbers, but those that did attend said it was one of the best they had ever been too! Tons of prizes, tons of laugher and great drinks!!

PUB NIGHT 2017:

2017 was the first time at Newlands Golf and Country Club and they ran out of Beer!! It was a fabulous night at a new venue with great people and food! Over 3000 dollars was raised for upgrades to VMSL equipment, and the Year End Tournament!

PUB NIGHT 2016:

The 2016 Pub Night was the best yet in terms of dollars and attendance from teams! There were amazing Silent Auction Items, Door Prizes and Fundraising Efforts. Over 200 players attended and over 60 prizes were given out!! Special Shout Out to the Rum Runners who donated over $500 worth of Silent Auction items!!

PUB NIGHT 2015:

The 2015 Pub Night was the most successful Pub Night to date in terms of attendance! We had over 170 players from our league squeeze into Rusty's Neighbourhood Pub through out the night! It was an awesome night full of laughs, drinks and toonie tosses! I think Rob even gave Shrubby his classic lap dance a little later in the night! Thank you to everyone for their awesome Pub Night Silent Auction and Door Prizes!! Thank you to everyone involved in making the 2015 Pub Night a success!

PUB NIGHT 2014:

The 2014 Pub Night was the most successful Pub Night to date, raising over $4000+ for the league! It was truly an amazing night, donations were amazing and teams truly gave it there all and attendance was above the league average! Thank you to everyone involved in making the 2014 Pub Night amazing! Great Job!!!!!!

PUB NIGHT 2013:

Great evening at B's! The donations were the best the league has ever seen and fundraising was amazing! Thank you everyone for your donations and hard work for setting up and organizing the Pub Night! It was greatly appriciated!

PUB NIGHT 2012: This night will be etched in the memory of many for years to come! Rob Newton's auctioned lap dance was the highlight of the night! Many people claimed it was their favorite Valley Mixed social ever! The prizes were fantastic and original, and raised lots of money for the league. Thanks to everyone for helping out!

PUB NIGHT 2011: Another very successful evening!!! The Canucks were in the playoffs, we danced to a live band, all while raising money for our league. Great job everyone!!!

PUB NIGHT 2010: Thank you to everyone for our most successful Pub Night Fundrasier to date! Fantastic silent auction items and door prizes were donated by teams. There was a great turnout by all teams. 170 people attended! Thank you for supporting your league!!!
