TEAM COACH/MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Attend AGM.
2. Collect league fees from your team and pay the league.  All league fees are due before your team takes to the field (April 1st).  Late fees subject to fines of $25 per week from your Performance Bond. 
3. Ensure that all of your players are registered on the SPN website.  Ensure that the Township roster is completed and handed in to the league executive by the allotted time frame (By April 1st).
4. If you must cancel a game, please contact the coach of the other team well in advance.  You must also inform the Schedule and Statistics Manager.  A $30 fine will be taken from your performance bond, and must be replaced the following season at the AGM.  This is to cover the cost of the field.  Please avoid cancelling games if at all possible.
5. The Winning Team of the game must contact the Schedule and Statistics Manager to submit the game results, failure to do so will result in a tie.
6. Only HOT DOT softballs are to be used.
7. Ensure that all players 18 and younger are wearing helmets while batting and running the bases.  
8. Ensure that trophies are engraved with your name and returned to the executive or brought to the appropriate year end tournament.  Submit engraving receipts for reimbursement.
9. Provide a minimum of 2 door prizes (approx value $20) and 1 silent auction item (approx. value $100) for the league fundraiser pub night 2 weeks prior to the Pub Night.
10. Attend the League Umpires Clinic and be familiar with the league and SPN rules.  Review any rule changes on website  as decided at AGM and inform team members of any changes.
11. Encourage sportsmanlike behavior at all times amongst your teammates. Ensure drinks are in Coozies and or Plastic Cups!!
